Paints Required
This kit uses rigid styrene plastic — paint with Tamiya Acrylic Mini (XF series) for brush painting. The 88mm Flak gun and its tractor were finished in German Grey (early-war) or Dark Yellow with camouflage (mid/late-war). Choose your scheme based on the theatre you're modelling.
Gun & Tractor (Early-War Grey Scheme)
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-63 German Grey — primary colour for both the Flak gun and tractor (Dunkelgrau, standard pre-1943)
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-1 Flat Black — tyres, muzzle brake, exhaust, and shadow details
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-57 Buff — dry-brush highlight for a dusty, worn finish
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-52 Flat Earth — mud and earth weathering on wheels, outriggers, and lower chassis
Gun & Tractor (Mid/Late-War Yellow Scheme)

Tip: Apply a thin wash of Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color (Dark Brown or Black) after the base coat dries to bring out the engraved detail on the gun carriage, outrigger legs, and tractor bodywork.
