Shipping policy
General Policy
Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. Techtonic Hobbies will make every effort to deliver on time. However, we shall not be held liable for delay or lost shipment.
Customers are responsible to have someone at the delivery address to sign for and accept the delivery. Cost for re-delivery attempts will be passed to the customers if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery.
Prices of some products may incur a delivery fee with insurance for orders placed via the internet. This will generally apply for high value products if requested.
All orders (express and regular) are shipped within one to four business days Monday – Friday and have a 1 to 14 day delivery time frame. If you require your order by a certain date please contact us with more information.
We currently use the Australia Post to deliver our orders
If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information.

Shipping Rates
Our rates follow the Australia Post calculations.
Larger parcels, up to a maximum of 100cm in length are calculated on weight and volume in line with Australia Post's 'volumetric weight' policy.
Shipping is calculated at checkout.
Please be aware, we endeavor to ensure our shipping rates are calculated to match Australia Posts calculations, we do not mark up on postage to provide you with the lowest possible price we can offer. In rare cases where a shipment is going to a rural area, or a zone that Australia Post classifies as incurring increased shipping rates, our automatically calculated rates may be inaccurate. In those cases, we will contact you to advise you of the additional shipping fee, and give you the option of either paying the additional charges, or cancelling your order for a full refund.
Back Orders
If an item goes on back order we will ship the part of your order that is in stock. When the back ordered item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling costs for the second shipment unless notified before we send the first half of your order.
