Airfix 1/72 Tiger 1 Plastic Model Kit 02342
The German Tiger 1 tank was introduced in the Fall of 1942, and at the time was the most advanced tank in the world. Its purpose was to dominate the battlefield, with the capability to destroy any enemy tanks without being killed in return. However, due to its over-engineering, complexity, and high production costs, the Tiger's potential was never fully realized, and there were never enough of them on the battlefield to make a significant impact. Only 1,347 Tiger 1s were produced between 1942 and 1944, highlighting the numerical disparity between the German and Allied armies. Despite its limitations, the Tiger 1 was undoubtedly one of the finest tanks ever made. The Airfix model of the Tiger 1 offers the chance to own a piece of WWII history, with two livery schemes to choose from and the ability to recreate the victories of this technically advanced and destructive tank.
