The WAM 80000 type is a two-axle boxcar manufactured from 1960. The mid-term model manufactured from 1968 is a group that was added when the maximum speed of freight trains was changed to 75km/h due to the timetable revision of the same year, and changes in appearance were made such as the roof becoming a pressed structure. , manufactured until 1970. The WAM 80000 type manufactured for transporting fresh fish was classified as the 580000 series and had a white painted body.
