The Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit 70-000 series is a train that was introduced for the Waterfront Fukutoshin Line (now the Rinkai Line) that opened in 1996.
When it was introduced it was a 4-car train, but when the entire line opened it was expanded to 10 cars, including the existing trains. The 4 trains introduced in 2002 were 10-car trains.
Currently, in addition to running between Shin-Kiba and Osaki on the Rinkai Line, it also runs on the JR Saikyo Line and Kawagoe Line, and can be seen in operation on JR lines as well.
- Reproduces the Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit 70-000 series vehicle that appeared in 2002
- This product (cars 4, 7, 8, and 9) and the <98763> basic set can be used to reproduce a full 10-car formation
- The body is reproduced in two types of silver
- The end of the body is reproduced with beads
- The "TWR" mark is pre-printed
- The car number is selectable and compatible with transfer sheets (transfer sheets are included in the basic set)
- New current collecting system and black wheels are used
