The 223-2000 series is a group that appeared in 1999 and is active on the Tokaido/Sanyo Main Line's new rapid trains. There are 4, 6, and 8 car formations, with a maximum of 12 cars, and it is active in various combinations between Tsuruga and Banshu Ako.
Features
- Reproduces the appearance before the fall prevention hood is attached to the front of the head
- Equipped with a headlight lighting function that lights up regardless of the direction of travel when connecting the leading cars
- Kuha 222 type and Kumoha 223 type have extended lower skirts
- Reproduce the vehicle without a bead on the side face
- Head and tail lights, front display part are equipped with always-on board, ON-OFF switch included
- Car number is selectable and transfer sheet is included
- Front display is printed - Already installed part "Rapid Maibara", replacement parts included
- TN coupler (SP) installed on the cab side of the lead car
