The RC10 Jay Halsey Edition is a 1/10 2WD electric off-road buggy assembly kit commemorating the original RC10’s 40th anniversary. Based on Jay Halsey’s 1985 IFMAR World Championship-winning car, it combines the classic aluminium monocoque chassis and adjustable suspension with edition-specific wheels, wing, bumper and decals. Build a replica of Jay’s famous race buggy and tune its suspension to suit your track.

Before You Build
This is an assembly kit, not a ready-to-run vehicle. The chassis accepts six-cell NiMH or 2S LiPo packs. Check the model’s instruction manual for the complete electronics, battery, charging equipment and finishing-material requirements before ordering.
RC10 Racing Heritage
The RC10 began with Team Associated founder Roger Curtis’s vision for an electric off-road race car. Jay Halsey’s victory at the inaugural IFMAR 1/10 Electric Off-Road World Championships in Del Mar, California, in 1985 established the buggy’s place in RC racing history. This anniversary edition recreates the distinctive upgrades and appearance of his championship-winning car.
What is a Warehouse order? Some products aren't currently in our store, but are available through our supplier warehouse. With a warehouse order you can choose to have it shipped to your door, or held for pickup at our store.
How long will it take? Warehouse orders typically take 5–10 business days to arrive with us or reach you, depending on the warehouse dispatch schedule and your location. You'll be notified as soon as your order is ready.
Store Pickup: If you select store pickup, we'll contact you once your item has arrived in store and is ready for collection. Please don't come in before you receive that notification, as the item ships to us first before being available for pickup.
Will the price change? The price you pay at checkout is the price you'll be charged. In rare cases where a price change affects your order, we'll contact you before proceeding.
Can I return it? Yes — Warehouse orders are covered by our standard returns policy. If the item arrives damaged or is not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

A note on Warehouse orders & warranties.
When you place a Warehouse order, your item is fulfilled by our supplier and shipped straight to you. This means delivery times may differ from our standard in-store orders, but your consumer rights remain exactly the same.
Please note: RC models are warranted for manufacture defects only. This hobby involves moving models which often suffer from damage when they are put under undue strain or when they collide with objects or are subjected to water. Techtonic Hobbies cannot be held responsible for items which are damaged through use, and as such please understand that no mechanical warranty of any kind is offered on items once they have been used if the item has suffered damage from any of the conditions listed above. Please choose carefully, paying special attention to the type of use and the age of the user of your new model, RC models are designed to be tough, but everything has its limits and we cannot be held responsible for damages that result from when those limits are exceeded. We have no way of telling what a model has been subjected to once it leaves the store / warehouse. Your consumer rights are not affected.
