Team Associated RC10 Classic 40th Anniversary Green Edition Kit
The RC10 Classic Green Edition is a 1/10 electric off-road buggy kit based on Roger Curtis’s original RC10 design. Released to celebrate 40 years of the RC10 and 60 years of Associated Electrics, this alternate reproduction combines a T6 aircraft aluminium monocoque tub with adjustable independent suspension and a VariLok differential. RC10 Heritage
Associated Electrics was founded in 1964 by Roger Curtis and Lee Yurada, initially producing slot-car parts and accessories. The company moved into radio-controlled cars in 1969, with Gene Husting joining Roger Curtis. Team Associated earned its first IFMAR World Championship in 1977 with Butch Kroells driving the RC100, followed by the RC12E electric car in 1978 and another World Title with Kent Clausen’s RC12i in 1982. The RC10 became one of the brand’s defining off-road designs.
