This updated re-release version of a 1988 buggy from the renowned Tamiya back catalog draws inspiration from the race-oriented Avante, featuring a forward cockpit body design and a rear wing, both molded in lightweight polycarbonate and pre-painted black for your convenience. The body is pre-cut with body mount holes, reducing preparation work. The kit employs a durable ABS plastic monocoque frame, ensuring excellent rigidity to protect the R/C equipment and enhance suspension performance. Equipped with a responsive shaft-driven 4WD system, this model guarantees superb off-road performance. It features a triple differential setup, including small front and rear planetary gear differentials and a center differential with a ball thrust bearing. The front and rear gearboxes come with maintenance hatches for easy access. To ensure smooth and efficient drive, universal shafts are used both in the front and rear, minimizing the risk of parts coming loose due to bumps and shocks. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension, based on the Avante, incorporates plastic lower arms and threaded shaft upper arms, allowing swift adjustment of camber. Additionally, aluminum front uprights and stabilizers for the front and rear are included.
