The Nissan GT-R R35 debuted in December 2007 as Nissan's “Multiperformance Supercar.” Powered by a 480hp 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine with a dual-clutch transmission and independent transaxle 4WD system, it reaches 300km/h and laps the Nürburgring in around 7 minutes 30 seconds. Tamiya's 1/24 scale kit captures every aggressive detail of this iconic supercar.

Painting Tips
- Prime the light grey plastic first. This kit's body shell is moulded in light grey — unlike plain white. Always apply a solid coat of white plastic primer before your topcoat to create a colour-neutral surface, especially for light colours like Pearl White or Italian Red.
- Assemble the nose before painting. Glue the front bumper fascia to the main body before painting. This ensures perfect colour uniformity and flawless metallic flake alignment across panels.
- Master the two-tone lower trim. The R35 features a distinct dark grey/gunmetal lower trim. Spray your primary body colour and let it cure for 48 hours, then use flexible hobby masking tape to mask the front lip, side skirts, and rear diffuser curves before applying multiple light coats of X-10 Gun Metal.
- Use the included window masks. Apply the die-cut window masking stickers to the interior faces of the clear glass pieces before painting X-18 Semi-Gloss Black for factory-crisp black glass edges without bleed.
