The Tamiya 32512 1/48 Scale WWII German Infantry Set Kit is a plastic assembly kit that comprises 15 high-quality figures, including 10 early WWII-style German soldiers in charging and firing poses, as well as 5 tank crewmen. These figures are designed to be mounted on 1/48 scale AFV models, such as the Tiger I, StuG III, and Hetzer. The molding is exceptionally accurate and includes subtle details such as hand grenades and web belts, while separate plastic weapons and equipment are provided to enhance the realism of the figures. In the early stages of WWII, the standard German infantry uniform included the M36 field jacket with a dark green collar, matching gray trousers tucked into black leather jackboots, and the characteristically shaped M35 helmet. Soldiers carried equipment such as a gas mask case, kit bag, shovel, canteen, and ammo pouch in the field. Initially, German armored troops wore black fatigues, but field gray uniforms were introduced from the mid-stages of the war, mainly used by assault gun units. This kit offers a fantastic opportunity to add historical accuracy and character to dioramas or models. The level of accuracy and detail in both the figures and uniforms makes it an excellent choice for model builders and history enthusiasts alike.
