Build one of the most iconic fighters of World War II in 1/48 scale. The Bf 109 E-4/7 was the mainstay of the German Luftwaffe during the early war years, powered by a 1,100hp Daimler-Benz DB 601Aa engine and armed with twin 7.9mm machine guns and wing-mounted 20mm cannons. The E-4/7 variant introduced an additional 300L drop tank to extend its limited 560km combat range — a critical upgrade following the Battle of Britain. It went on to serve in North Africa until gradually replaced by the F-type in 1942. Tamiya’s kit captures the angular lines and historical detail of this legendary aircraft with precision.
