Main Hull Base Paint Options

Early Service Scheme (RAL 6014 Gelboliv): Historically, early West German Leopards were painted a distinct grey-green/brownish-olive shade. Tamiya does not make an exact out-of-the-box match for RAL 6014, but builders widely use:
- XF-62 Olive Drab — Standard kit instruction option
- XF-51 Khaki Drab — A popular alternative favored by modelers to better capture the grey-brown hue
