RPM Shock Shaft Guards – 1/5 X-Maxx (Black)
Rocks, dirt and debris striking your shock shafts lead to dents, dings and burrs, which in turn lead to torn shock seals. Torn shock seals mean leaky shocks and poor shock performance. RPM Shock Shaft Guards shield the shock shaft from those deteriorating elements, prolonging the life of the shock shaft — improving long-term suspension performance and extending the time between seal replacements and shock rebuilds.
How They Work
RPM Shock Shaft Guards replace stock shock spring cups with redesigned cups that feature mounting holes for a thin but tough shield rising up to the base of the shock body. The guard completely blocks debris from striking the shock shaft. The back and sides remain open, preventing debris from building up inside the guard.

Compatibility
RPM Shock Shaft Guards fit stock Traxxas X-Maxx GTX shocks (#7761, #7761A, #7761G & #7761R) only. They have not been tested or guaranteed to fit any other X-Maxx shocks. Replaces Traxxas #7764 spring cups.
