ProTek RC PTK-7051 Hardened 14T Clutch Bell
The ProTek RC PTK-7051 is an optional hardened, precision-cut 14-tooth clutch bell for Mugen MBX5 and OFNA-style clutch systems. It is supplied with two rubber-sealed clutch bearings for dependable performance. Check the part number, clutch arrangement and dimensions against your vehicle before ordering; the style designation does not confirm compatibility with every Mugen or OFNA model.
The clutch bell is installed over the clutch shoes and engages as engine RPM increases, transferring engine power to the centre spur gear and the rest of the drivetrain. A clutch bell with fewer teeth than your current setup provides increased bottom-end acceleration with reduced top-end speed, making it suitable for smaller, technical tracks. A clutch bell with more teeth increases top-end speed at the expense of bottom-end acceleration, making it better suited to larger, flowing tracks.
