Kyosho ULTIMA 30625 1/10 2WD Electric Racing Buggy Kit
Build a classic off-road racer with the Kyosho ULTIMA, the eighth model in the Kyosho Vintage Series. First released in 1986, the ULTIMA took TQ and a 1-2-3 finish in the 2WD class at the 1987 Electric Off Road World Championship in England. This 2019 re-release retains the original style while updating the chassis and drivetrain for modern power sources and racing circuits. This is an unassembled kit; radio equipment, motor, ESC, battery and other running essentials are required separately.

- Resin rear wing with two mounting heights and an angle adjustable between 3° and 6° using shims.
- Multi-pin rear tyres styled after the original hard-block tyres, paired with rigid one-piece wheels replacing the original 50mm three-piece wheels.

Technical Details and Original Pictures
The A6061-T6 aluminium monocoque chassis combines with a glass-reinforced resin upper deck. The battery stay and KYOSHO-logo hook-and-loop strap provide straightforward battery mounting.
The front and rear double-wishbone suspension uses nylon lower arms and metal upper rods for adjustable camber. Optional 38mm titanium adjustment rods (92413) can be fitted front and rear.
12mm-diameter oil shocks and long nylon-resin shock towers allow suspension tuning. Optional gold shocks are available as OTW128 for the front and OTW129 for the rear.
The steering assembly combines an aluminium steering link, metal bushings and a spring-equipped servo saver. Optional ball bearings and a 50mm titanium adjustment rod (92416) provide upgrade options.
Interchangeable resin bushings set rear hub toe to 1.0°, 2.0° or 2.5° to suit track conditions.
The drivetrain uses 48-pitch gearing, a nylon 57T first gear and sintered-metal gears. The optional OTW101 differential offers another tuning option.
The adjustable slipper clutch helps protect the drivetrain during sudden load changes such as jump landings. Optional SCW021 HD slipper pads are available for higher-power applications.
The included A6061-T6 motor guard protects the motor area. The resin wing mount offers two heights and shim-adjustable angles between 3° and 6°. The resin wing replaces the original polycarbonate design for improved crash resistance; five optional colours are offered in addition to white.
The multi-pin rear tyre pattern retains the look of the original tyres. Optional OTT244S soft and OTT244H hard tyres are available. Rigid one-piece wheels replace the original 50mm three-piece design, with three optional colours offered in addition to white.
