Next-Generation MR-04 Chassis
The MR-04 is a major evolution over the outgoing MR-03. A lower centre of gravity, redesigned steering geometry, and full ball-bearing specification combine to deliver sharper, more linear control — whether you're a first-time driver or a seasoned tuner.
Front Suspension & Steering
The lower centre of gravity of the MR-04 delivers significant performance improvements over the MR-03, making it an ideal introduction to R/C cars without sacrificing elite-level potential.
New front knuckles with integrated kingpins reduce scrub by 1.5mm per side versus the MR-03, delivering sharper and more linear steering. Upgraded 3mm inner-diameter ball bearings further reduce rotational resistance.
Dynamic camber alignment via the upper arm maintains optimal tyre contact through corners. A revised caster angle further improves steering response.
Battery Layout & Centre of Gravity
Four AAA batteries are mounted lower than on the MR-03, dropping the chassis centre of gravity for improved cornering stability and straight-line handling.
Rear Suspension
A coil spring damper cushions road shocks and improves driving stability. Upgrade to an optional oil-filled shock absorber for even greater performance.
The flexible T-bar rear suspension plate — holding the motor, rear axle, and entire rear pod — produces an excellent suspension effect. Optional FRP and carbon T-bars are available for tuning.
Full Ball Bearing Specification
All axles run on low-resistance ball bearings as standard. Matching front and rear bearing sizes simplify spare parts management.
Body Compatibility & Tread Adjustment
Compatible with the full MINI-Z Racer body range. An included front tread adjustment parts set lets you match the chassis width to any compatible body. Rear tread is adjusted via wheel offset changes.
Syncro KT-531P Transmitter
The 2.4GHz Syncro KT-531P features a real-car-inspired steering wheel and pistol-grip throttle. Adjust steering neutral, throttle neutral, and dual-rate steering angle on the fly. Training mode (default) limits top speed — perfect for beginners.
About the DENSO KOBELCO SC430 2012 Body
Built on the Lexus SC430 platform, the DENSO KOBELCO SC430 2012 was redesigned and tuned to compete as a full-fledged Super GT machine. The body is pre-painted and finished with all markings applied to display model standard. Note: The separately sold LED light unit set (No. MZW429R) can be installed on this model.
