The Kyosho Turbo Scorpion brings the character of the 1982 Scorpion into a thoroughly updated 1/10 electric 2WD buggy kit. Its vintage body shape and white chassis details remain unmistakably Scorpion, while modern dimensions, suspension and drivetrain components make it better suited to contemporary off-road running.
A 20mm wider front tread and 10mm longer wheelbase than the original help create a more settled, controllable feel. The larger 2.2-inch wheels, high-grip tyres and 12mm oil shocks work together to give this retro buggy the stance and composure expected from a modern build.

The recreated body retains the original Scorpion profile, including its loop-style light buckets and compact bumper. The roll bar sits 6mm farther back and remains compatible with the light buckets from the first Scorpion.
Vintage Scorpion styling is retained while the chassis is updated for modern running.
The recreated body includes the repositioned roll bar and original-style light bucket mounting points.
The 2.2-inch five-spoke wheels echo the look of the original Scorpion era. Compared with the earlier design, the wider front tread and longer wheelbase provide a more planted footprint for off-road driving.

The ladder frame is made from strong, lightweight A6061-T6 aluminium. Its white radio box continues the original colour scheme while accommodating a range of modern battery types.
The aluminium ladder frame combines vintage presentation with space for modern electronics.
Forged A6061-T6 suspension arms add strength and rigidity. They work with 12mm oil shocks based on the Optima design to provide controlled damping over rough surfaces.
Forged suspension arms and 12mm oil shocks form the core of the updated suspension.
The 48-pitch transmission uses nylon and sintered-alloy gears to balance efficiency and operating noise. An optional Ultima RB ball differential can also be fitted.

A gear cover encloses the two-piece aluminium die-cast gearbox. The built-in gear differential and slipper clutch help manage drivetrain loads during hard off-road use.

Ribbed soft-compound front tyres are designed to reduce understeer, while block-pattern rear tyres provide grip and forward traction.
Different front and rear tread patterns balance steering response and traction.
The white rear wing matches the vintage colour scheme and mounts to a reinforced nylon-resin stay. Included resin parts allow its angle to be adjusted.
The adjustable white rear wing completes the period-inspired presentation.
