The Mil-24 "Hind" D/E Model by Italeri, in a 1/72 scale, represents one of the most robust combat and attack helicopters in use today, despite its more than two decades of service. Constructed in line with the Soviet Military philosophy, these helicopters are like flying "battle ships," equipped with exceptional firepower to support helicopter attack forces. The Mi-24 features heavy protective armor designed to shield it against small arms fire. This helicopter has been exported to many nations and has been utilized in various conflicts, from Afghanistan to Southern Africa, South America, and even the recent gulf war.
