Paints Required
This kit uses rigid styrene plastic — paint with Tamiya Acrylic Mini (XF series) for brush painting. Choose your paints based on which of the three build options you select.
Option A: Camouflaged Transport (Early-War Grey)
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-63 German Grey — primary body colour for the Dunkelgrau scheme
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-1 Flat Black — tyres, exhaust, and shadow details
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-57 Buff — dry-brush highlight for a dusty, road-worn finish
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-52 Flat Earth — mud weathering on lower chassis and wheels
Option A: Camouflaged Transport (Mid/Late-War Yellow)
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-60 Dark Yellow — Dunkelgelb base coat for mid/late-war vehicles
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-64 Red Brown — camouflage stripes over the yellow base
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-58 Olive Green — third camouflage colour for a three-tone scheme
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-1 Flat Black — tyres, exhaust, and shadow details
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-57 Buff — dry-brush highlight
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-52 Flat Earth — mud weathering on lower chassis
Option B: Medical Van
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-2 Flat White — overall body colour for the medical van (with Red Cross markings applied via decals)
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-1 Flat Black — tyres, exhaust, and chassis details
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-57 Buff — subtle weathering highlight on the white body
Option C: 20mm Flak 38 Armed Variant
Use the same truck body colours as Option A above, plus:
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-63 German Grey — Flak 38 gun body and mount (early-war)
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-60 Dark Yellow — Flak 38 gun body (mid/late-war)
- Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF-1 Flat Black — muzzle, barrel, and shadow details on the gun
Tip: Apply a thin wash of Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color (Dark Brown or Black) after the base coat dries to bring out the engraved panel lines and chassis detail across all three build options.
