Tamiya's design team has drawn inspiration from their extensive collection of iconic 2WD off-road buggies to introduce the brand-new BBX, delighting radio control enthusiasts! This 1/10 R/C 2WD off-road buggy model seamlessly blends classic design elements with modern performance. The innovative chassis, reminiscent of 1980s sand rail dune buggies, adopts a hybrid monocoque-roll cage structure and incorporates rear trailing arm suspension inspired by full-size UTVs. The fresh body design, envisioned by renowned Japanese artist Atsushi Arino, showcases a nostalgic 1980s-inspired livery, complemented by retro wheels and tires.

• The classically designed 0.7mm thick polycarbonate body is divided into three sections, capturing the tapered lower shape of real dune buggies.
• NEW: The newly crafted 2WD chassis is based on a one-piece monocoque frame and roll cage, enabling the use of realistic body designs.
• The BB-01 chassis features a novel front double wishbone suspension with A-shaped arms and a rear trailing arm suspension with long trailing arms, drawing inspiration from UTVs, resulting in impressive performance.
• The 2WD chassis with a rear motor showcases a rear-position layout, echoing the configurations of the actual vehicles from that era, providing excellent rear traction.
• The four-wheel double wishbone suspension system utilizes CVA oil front/rear aluminum aeration dampers, delivering both impressive performance and a classic appearance.
• The transmission utilizes the TA06 rear ball differential for consistent traction and can be optionally equipped with the separately available TA-06 oil-filled gear differential, allowing for compatibility with numerous existing Grade-Up parts.
• Comes with full ball bearings and universal drive shafts.
• The rear roll cage can be easily removed by detaching screws, facilitating maintenance around the motor.
• NEW: Features new metal-plated bead lock type wheels paired with NEW large-diameter tires.
• Includes a driver figure, light cases for added realism, and a 5th spare tire mount adapter. (Spare tire available for separate purchase, enhancing realism)
• Requires a 2-channel radio, LOW-PROFILE steering servo (Example Dimension: 40.5 mm x 20 mm x 25.4 mm / 1.59 in x 0.79 in x 1.0 in), 540 motor, ESC, 7.2-7.4volt battery with a compatible charger, and Tamiya PS paint to complete the model.
