The Macchi MC 202 Folgore is an Italian single-seat fighter plane with a metal structure, in a low wing configuration with a classic tail from the Second World War. It was powered by the Alfa Romeo RA1000 RC41-1 Monsone engine with a capacity of 1175KM, which is a license version of the German DB-601A engine. The Folgore was an upgraded version of the earlier MC 200 Saetta fighter, which began development in 1935. The kit comes with all the plastic parts necessary to build the model, as well as a set of decals to add the finishing touches.
