Dragon 7698 1/72 Scale German Panther Ausf.G Befehls (Command Tank) Plastic Model Kit

The Dragon 7698 1/72 Scale German Panther Ausf.G Befehls (Command Tank) Plastic Model Kit is a remarkable representation of one of the most renowned tanks of the Second World War. The Panther was developed by the Germans as a response to the Soviet T-34 and was considered to be one of the best tanks of its time. The Panther Ausf.G was the most produced version of the tank, with over 3,700 tanks of this model built. It was produced from March 1944 to January 1945 and mainly increased the angle of the frontal armor and made it thicker. The technical data for this tank is impressive, with a length of 8.66m, width of 3.42m, height of 2.99m, engine power of 700KM, a range of 200km on the road, and a maximum speed of 46km/h. The tank's armaments include a 75mm KwK 42/L70 cannon and two 7.92mm MG-34 machine guns. The well-shaped frontal armor and the excellent anti-tank gun made the Panther a formidable opponent on the battlefield. The basic version of the T34/76 did not stand a chance with the Panther. Only the advent of the T34/85 and IS-2 tanks changed this state of affairs. However, it should be noted that the Panther had some weaknesses, such as its large overall dimensions, delicate suspension, armor of increasingly poor quality caused by a lack of molybdenum, and weak side armor. The technical complexity of the entire structure also resulted in high production time. The Dragon 7698 1/72 Scale German Panther Ausf.G Befehls (Command Tank) Plastic Model Kit accurately represents the Panther Ausf.G and its technical specifications. It is a detailed and impressive kit that is sure to delight military historians and model enthusiasts alike.
