FOAM-CURE is a silicone-based adhesive specially formulated for EPP and EPO foams. It cures crystal clear to a flexible finish — ideal where CA glue would be too brittle. Unlike CA, it is not instant-bonding, but a simple contact-cement technique can significantly speed up the initial tack.
How to Use
- Cut off the tip of the nozzle.
- Apply FOAM-CURE to one surface before joining the parts.
- For faster bonding: join the parts, pull them apart, and let the adhesive air dry for 5–10 minutes. Rejoin — the contact-cement tack allows assembly to continue immediately.
- Use tape to hold parts in place during full cure.
- Full cure is reached in 10–12 hours.
- Clean up uncured adhesive with denatured alcohol. Replace cap after use.
Works Best On
- EPP Foam
- EPO Foam
- Clear canopies
- Wood to foam bonds
- Plastic to foam bonds
- Paper and crafts
Key Features
- Formula: Silicone-based, solvent-carried adhesive
- Cure time: Full strength in 10–12 hours
- Finish: Crystal clear
- Flexibility: Flexible cure — will not crack or shatter like CA
- Volume: 4 fl. oz. (120ml)
Limitations
FOAM-CURE requires air exposure to cure. It is not suitable as a hinge adhesive for control surfaces, and is not recommended for bonding large areas of two non-porous materials (e.g. coin to glass), as the solvent cannot evaporate from sealed surfaces.
