Hot vs Cold – Which Do You Need?
A hot plug like the N3 runs a hotter element temperature, which helps with smoother idling and better low-end throttle response. It suits engines running lower nitro percentages or operating in cooler ambient temperatures. If your engine idles roughly or feels sluggish off the throttle, a hotter plug is often the fix.
