Beginner RC Cars

The first radio-controlled model car is attributed to the Italian company Elettronica Giocattoli (El-Gi). In 1966, El-Gi released a 1/12 scale model car called the "Ferrari 250 LM" that featured remote control functionality. This model car was powered by an internal combustion engine and controlled using a radio transmitter and receiver system. It was a significant milestone in the development of RC cars, as it introduced the concept of remote control for model vehicles. El-Gi continued to produce various RC cars throughout the 1960s and 1970s, laying the foundation for the RC car industry that has since grown into a global hobby and competitive sport.
