A safety siding is a railway facility that prevents vehicles from encroaching onto the main track in the event that for some reason a train is unable to stop or a stopped vehicle starts moving. They are often installed at train yards and stations on single-track sections.

- Safety siding rail PL541-15-S140-SY (F) is a rail part that imitates the passing point It has the shape of a point rail consisting of a 140mm straight section and a 541mm radius curved section, but the curved section is a dummy rail and vehicles can only drive on the straight section. *There is no point switching function.
